Removed So Much Stress!

Last October, I had an accident while on a trip to Northern Michigan and badly injured my leg. I broke my artificial knee and cut through the artery to the lower part of my leg. I had two surgeries in Michigan and was in the hospital for three weeks. Doctors told me that I would need to go to a rehab center for about a month before having another surgery to replace the knee. We asked the hospital caseworker to help us find a rehab center near our home in the Chicago area and an ambulance service that could transport me there. For two weeks the caseworker told us that she could not find anything in our area.

My husband and I began to panic and I did an internet search for private healthcare navigators—someone to guide us through the medical system. I found Avi’s website and we called him. Avi is a miracle worker. He found a rehab center outside of Chicago that would take me. He helped us deal with our insurance company and with the rehab center administration. Even more importantly, he found recommendations for a surgeon to do the revision operation. When the Michigan hospital sent my records to the wrong place, Avi picked them up and walked them to the surgeon’s office. He also helped us find a medical transport company and called regularly to check on my progress.

The surgeon Avi found was excellent. I eventually got the revision surgery and, after months of physical therapy, was able to walk again. Through his contacts and his knowledge of the healthcare system, Avi took so much stress off my husband and me during an extremely difficult time. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who needs help navigating the healthcare system.

Compassionate as he is knowledgeable 

As a concerned family member of a loved one who lives over 1,600 miles away in a different country, having a patient advocate to help navigate the world of American healthcare is an absolute necessity. Finding a patient advocate who is as compassionate as he is knowledgeable was the answer to my prayers! Avi Fox fights for my cousin’s rights as if she were his own family member. He’s an excellent communicator, fulfills every promise, provides regular status updates and consistently exceeds my expectations.
